I'm an active duty Chief Petty Officer in our beloved Navy and I know first hand what his guy is going through. There is a great sense of ownership when it comes to our ships. These civilians are walking into his home and messing things up. I hate having to kowtow to "VIP's." They come aboard, have no idea what to do or where to go and wind up complaining the whole time. The bad thing is, the skipper has no choice but to take them on. If his superiors tell him to take this crap, then take the crap he will. I feel for this crew. It sucks being out there and not knowing when it will end.

OK freepers, lets get busy and send this account to your so called representative in congress, White House, every talk radio hosts you can. I don't pay my hard earned tax dollars to feed or house a bunch of parasites.

Thought they moved offhore to avoid this problem?
Today we have pilots who have now been over 25 days without a trap due to being unable to use Indonesian airspace to train.

My son was stationed on the Lincoln on it's previous tour of duty ("Mission Accomplished!"), he still is in touch with some of the guys on the Lincoln. When I saw this, I asked him to send it to one of his friends and here is the response he received (edited just to protect the identity of the writer):
yeah, maybe we all felt a little bit pissed at the cocky UN people, but we were all damn proud to be there, and to do what we were doing. this was a real guy, I should know, I helped (deleted) . hehehehe, (deleted) has it's perks!
so, yeah, he is a LT, and who else but somebody who's ego would be totally bruised by this because it made him totally worthless- none other than a stick jockey, yeah, some pilots are cool, but some of them are total fuckin tools, and this guy was one of them, yeah (deleted) track him down, and he had alot to say about it, and I (deleted), but he is done now, guess what his little tantrum got him? yeah, an early trip back to Lemoore. he's been "grounded" funny huh!
So the story is true.
