Inside information on the New Jersey murders
Jihad Watch ^ | January 20, 2005 | Unknown

Posted on 01/21/2005 1:32:42 AM PST by moonpie57

A close friend of the Coptic Christian brutally murdered in New Jersey along with his family, Hossam Armanious, is the source of this information, which comes to you exclusively from Jihad Watch:

The Armanious family had inspired several Muslims to convert to Christianity — or thought they had. These converts were actually practicing taqiyya, or religious deception, pretending to be friends of these Christians in order to strengthen themselves against them, as in Qur'an 3:28: "Let believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful -- he that does this has nothing to hope for from Allah -- except in self-defense."

It was these "converts" who knocked on the door of the Armanious home. Of course, the family, not suspecting the deception, was happy to see the "converted" men and willingly let them in to their home. That's why there was no sign of forced entry. Then the "converted" Muslims did their grisly work.

Many Copts are regarding the murders as a warning to the Coptic community as a whole, related to the increasing strife between Copts and Muslims in Egypt and the Copts' energetic efforts in America to get the truth out about the differences between Middle Eastern Christians and Muslims -- differences that the Islamic lobby, with its disingenuous talk of "Arab Americans," routinely glosses over and hopes you don't notice. The Copts, to their immense credit, have been particularly outspoken among Middle Eastern Christians about Muslim oppression. And yes, many are active on Pal Talk debating Muslims.

The nature of the warning? The murders send a signal from the Muslims to the Copts: we are going to behave here the same way we behaved in Egypt, and the First Amendment and American law enforcement will not protect you. Don't expect America to keep you safe from us. The oppression and harassment you thought you had left behind in Egypt has now come to you.

This means, if Armanious's friend is correct, that this is indeed America's Theo van Gogh murder: indication that all Muslims in the nation do not, as we are supposed to believe, unanimously accept the parameters of American pluralism. That at least some are willing to enforce Sharia penalties right here, right now.

But there are so many nominees for the Walter Duranty prize this time that most Americans have no clue of what's going on. Duranty, of course, was the New York Times reporter who knowingly covered up information about the genocidal famine Stalin caused and fueled in Ukraine, and won a Pulitzer Prize for his efforts. The Pinch Sulzberger Times of these dark days should dedicate the whole paper to Duranty's honor, and put his picture on the front page right next to "All the News That's Fit to Print."

>>>Show me numerous articles in the Chicago Sun Times, the Houston Chronicle, the New York Times, the L.A. Times, etc. Where are they? Where were the numerous Muslim leaders on tv?

Where are all the articles on the rebuilding of Iraq? Where are all the articles on the investigations on Kerry?

Where are all the articles on Soros nonprofit investigations?

You all of a sudden want MSM verification? What the heck do you think the point of FR is? It was started because of the biased MSM reporting.

Now you want MSM sources for proof?

You want articles? Go to the sources I've already sent.

You don't want proof, I gave it. You just want a fight.

If an arrest doesn't come out of this quickly, people will rightly lose faith in the ability of the justice system to protect them.

If this one makes people lose faith in the system's ability to catch murderers, it'll be those people who don't have all the facts at hand.

According to the FBIs Uniform Crime Report for 2002, the last full year for which statistics are available, the average murder solution rate for cities of between half a million and one million in population was 54 percent.

The national average was 64 percent, but this includes small rural areas where the crime solution statistics are high because the population is low.

What a dreadful, chilling development, if true. I hope the police get to the bottom of this right away and show no mercy to the perpetrators in court.

They don't speak out, and I think they are afraid to speak out. That tells me they know there's more than a handful of terrorists here. I wouldn't be surprised if they are afraid of some of the brethen in their own mosque

I know a family here too. Al Qaeda supporters have infiltrated a Pakistani doctor's medical practice and the family is terrified of retribution if they speak out. I think the FBI is watching the situation. The wife is American born and a convert to Islam, but she has her hands full with that group!

Let's all remember TOO, this family's cousin has been a translator
working for the prosecution in the trial of Lynne Stewart. She is the
radical lawyer accused of smuggling messages from imprisoned
Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, to terrorist cell members and associates.

Cal, the above is why this family was chosen to be the Christian example.

It sent a message to the translator and to the members of the Church......

But of course, the man on the radio says he has no interest
in freeing Iraq, but only in his world/self/family here in America.

I wonder if he has any idea that murders such as this exist in his country?

Thank you for your good posts on this thread, yes I read backwards --again.

It was these "converts" who knocked on the door of the Armanious home.

Prove it.

That was the opinion of the person quoted in the article. I am waiting to see what the investigation will prove.

That's good. But you did post the article. All this rumor-spreading seems to me to be like shouting fire in a crowded theater. I guess that's part of the intent. People want the rumors to be true and they want others to get worked up. But what if the rumors aren't true?

The author and his imformant probably don't have any inside information and are just speculating. If someone had witnessed who came to the door before the murders they would have informed the police and if the information was credible the "converts" would have been questioned and/or arrested.

People have a legitimate axe to grind with the attitudes of many Muslims, but we are supposed to have something called due process in this country. Usually "freepers" tend to pride themselves on having a higher standard of proof than those who are more liberal.

I know that area in Jersey City and it is always filled with tension. The mosque on Kennedy Blvd is where Sheik Rahman preached.
The local Coptics came here to get away from the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Rahman gets booted out of Egypt due to his connection in the Sadat assassination . He sets up shop in the center of his adversaries community.
That area was never harmonious . There is a nearby Hindu enclave that also has some tension with the Muslims.

No problem. I guess I should have reread what I wrote. Did not mean to sound disrespectful just get frustrated at the lack of historical knowledge and I guess it came through.

I found nothing in your post disrespectful. I was only saying my reply would be respectful since I knew it would be coming much later and often folks are a little leary of late replys. They often indicate someone has been thinking way too much.
