What is the point of protesting Bush's inauguration? Are they protesting democracy?
It's not as if they are going to stop him from having a second term. They don't even have that as a potentiality.

Let them protest. Let them denounce. They should protest on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and denounce on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Then on Sundays they should burn incense, see their shrinks, perform wiccan healing ceremonies... and be ready Monday morning for another fresh round of protesting and denouncing. For the next four years.

You should have seen the parade of anti-Bush, anti-America, protesters marching and shouting all over the campus of the University of Houston today.

I agree. They are domestic enemies and the day is getting nigh when we have to decide if we are going to put up with them or not.

calling for an end to the war in Iraq. Ok, let's try and make this as simple and clear as possible for those cretins. Whether you agreed with the war or not, we are now there. WE are not the ones at war, we are the ones being constantly attacked with exploding vehicles, body worn bombs, random mortar and rocket attacks into civilian areas, kidnapings, beheadings, ambushes, and the list goes on. The vast majority of Iraqis are Shiia and want power through the election process. The vast majority of the people conducting war on Iraqis and Americans are Sunni who can't handle the notion they are going to lose power through the ballot box. We want to end this war as soon as possible and all the insurgents have to do is accept they can't take power with a gun, and must participate in the electoral process. The instant that happens we are out of Iraq. What part of that don't these leftists like? Do they hate the idea of a free election? Perhaps since leftist can never win elections with their lame ideas, they sympathize with the Sunni thugs.

"Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates took the stage at one point, saying the political state of the nation "couldn't be worse.'' "Every element of our society is under attack,'' said Bates, decrying the war in Iraq, the cutting of domestic social welfare programs and the loss of civil liberties. "We live in incredibly dangerous times,'' Bates said. I believe in my lifetime -- we will be forced to take action against these lunatics...
They NEVER accept defeat... They NEVER acknowledge THEY are the lunatic fringe....

I'd watch, but not worry. That haven't made any headway in their causes and are losing support. Their insignificant wails are laughed at more than listened to.
Besides, they also know that they wouldn't last three-fifths of a second against our side.

As much as I hate the prospect of CWII, it may become necessary to cull out all the dead wood and freaks that have been permitted to copulate and populate --- without a brain.
