I've got word that the campus newspaper of West Virginia University (already the 4th biggest party school in the nation) is using tomorrow to devote their entire opinion section to marijuana legalization. I need some serious help here because I'm attempting to find some factual inaccuracies in the editorials (which I know are almost never fact-checked). All of the editorials are pro, NO cons. The newspaper is run by students, and the articles can be found by clicking the source URL and going to the Opinion section. Please send e-mail to DAPerspectives@mail.wvu.edu to voice your outrage at this horribly one-sided, irresponsible, and inexcusable stroking of a pet issue.
Just remind them it's hard to spell "Athenaeum" when you're stoned.
If they want to smoke weed, what business is it of yours?
I did always wonder what the leading Kluxer in W. Va., the senior Senator from said state, had been smoking.
what is it with Republicans and marijuana ?
what exactly is really the difference between drinking beer or smoking pot ?
get a clue people
Thank god. It's long overdue that the legaization crowd got a fair hearing.
We've heard enough from the advocates of this WOD disaster.
I'm both an ex-Dallas cop and very anti-prohibition so I can not help you on this one.

Just asking.
I'm gonna open a pizza joint across the street from the campus!
Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't smoke weed. Don't drink, either. I'm just tired of people trying to ram their version of 'morality' down my throat.
A bunch of pothead ex cops. Whippie.
I sure wouldn't want to be the student that wrote the 'con' editorial endorsing throwing around ~50% of the campus in jail. Bet his social life would great after that :P
You libertarians and the anarchist styles from berkeley and the ones protesting the prez are virtually the same.
Read Post No. 10.
It has nothing to do with rational arguments; basically, the WOD types don't want to give the type of people they perceive that smoke pot the satisfaction of it being legalized.
Basically, it's that they perceive pot is smoked by gangstas and longhaired hippies and beer is drunk by good ol' boys. That's about it.
(I have never smoked pot or used any illegal substance myself myself. As usual the WOD types will assume otherwise.)
Yeah, crack/pot/heroin/beer.. All the same really. Uh huh.
Amazing how you guys are so clueless on the subject I'd think you'd know a lot about, but that's the sign of drug use.
If you can't smoke pot in college, where the hell are you supposed to smoke pot?
Enlighten us, oh wise one. Or are your posts limeted to mindless attacks?
Since you're the one incapable of reading I'd submit you're the one with a long history of drug use.
Like I said, I've never used any drugs other than sporadic beer drinking.
And the discussion isn't about crack and heroin, it's about pot.
Go into an emergency room any night and count how many people there are because of pot use, both direct poisoning and behavioral side effects, and how many are there because of alcohol use, and behavioral side effects.
One is legal and the other is not.
