I find it funny that France wants to have better ties with us, yet fuel China with weapons and ally with them, Germany, and Russia to form opposition to us.

Predictable lineing up to pay respects now that its official.

Just don't expect the french to do anything except gun down unarmed crowds in Africa.

Im still recovering from the shock of CNN reporting that our allies supported the President today...something is definitely wrong if CNN is doing that...

It's kind of hard to tell what France wants these days.

Senator Biden's admonishment to the Euro's during Dr. Rice's hearing yesterday, also sent a strong message when he told them to 'get over it, Bush is President for the next 4 years'.

HA ! .. France wants to be friends again

France and the other EURO countries are starting to realize just how many Muslims have set up in their countries - with no intention of assimilating, but, quite possibly, is the enemy within, ready to explode at any time.

They may be looking at the small number of Saddam holdouts in Iraq and the terror they are perpetrating - and realize they have far more in their own backyards...

I think, like Holland, they are beginning to see the writing on the wall - in Arabic? (I hate to recommend watching CBS, but Sunday night, they will have a show on the Beslam school attack. I hope people will watch it and WAKE UP! I fear the world, including US, did not show the sympathy and help to these poor children and parents of Russia when this horrific butchering of innocents took place. I fear we may have missed a golden opportunity...but it isn't too late.

And thats a fact. I love the fact that they are going to have to make Chirac a Senator-For-Life to keep him safe from prosecution. Sorta like Pinochet who they all hate.

He said the French people had not forgotten what they owed America. "The American people are allies," he said.

You are giving Biden far more credit than he deserves.

Biden needs to get over himself.

Is Joo-dy, Joo-dy, Joo-dy on sick leave? Where are Woofie and Krishnanne Pourmeout? CNN had to announce this support for Bush over their chilled or absent bodies.

What? Nothing from our good friend and neighbor Mexico?? Ah, yes, Fox stated 3 years ago they had no intention of supporting us on the war on terror, but they did publish a "how to get the gringo manual" for their unwanted citizens.

Have you seen the latest ratings for CNN? They are in the toilet, with only Larry King being in the top 10 programs. The rest are all Fox. Even CNN knows their survival depends on changing some of the viewers back to their network.

The anachronistic socialist government of France despises the USA. Let them eat grizzle.

Yes, but I'm sure that in finding it funny you are not amused. France and Germany's arm sales to China are typical examples of why they are irresponsible nations. They are using anti-Bush rhetoric to hide the fact that they want to pursue policies that hinder human freedom and show no respect for ordinary people in countries like Iraq, Iran, and China. France is always there to help dictators from Hitler to Saddam to Mugabe to Communist China. Not very funny at all.

I agree with your comments. Including the supposition that, were a Beslam-style attack to occur here, the sh*t would hit the fan vis-a-vis our Muslim "friends". Ammunition sales would exceed rug sales by many orders of magnitude.
