I took a photo of a friend of mine who is in Iraq.
And since I was so close up, GWB saw the photo, came to the edge of the stage, and yelled "Give him my best!"
It was SO cool!!
He is such a compassionate President...
Oh, Phancy, I'm SO HAPPY you got to see him!! And him yelling "Give him my Best" is so Dubya-like, so WONDERFUL! {Sigh} I'm Envious! : )
On Scarborough Country or a similar program tonight, one of the people described Laura Bush as the most glamorous or a similar adjective first lady since Jackie Kennedy -- they were all pretty much raving and salivating in a most refined way over her. It was wonderful to hear a REPUBLICAN first lady being slavered over.
