Inauguration does not do justice to the exuberant celebrations of this week. Coronation would come closer. Washington ended yesterday with nine official balls. Well, that's 9 more than the average appeasement-loving European possesses.

The night before George Bush gave a new spin to the phrase moveable feast by fitting in three separate banquets. Hey, in Baghdad years ago the Guardian's "heroic" fantasy whistleblower, former US ambassador to Gabon Joseph Wilson managed to fit in a lavish meal with a top Iraqi official and the Iraqi's Paris arms buyer the night before Iraq invade Kuwait.

The message of the jubilations could not be clearer. He won another four years and was going to enjoy them, while the other side lost and was going to have to put up with it. This 'journalist' got at least one thing right...

One visible contrast was provided by the demonstrators camping out on the streets to protest at such extravagant waste I am pretty sure those 500 protesters were not there to protest the worlds most blatant example of waste and corruption, the UN Oil for Food Program. These demonstrators wouldn't know waste if it fell on them from a flock of seagulls, or if they stepped in a pile of mounted police horse roadapples.

And yet, Clinton's second inauguration cost even more than GWB's. $9 million more when adjusted for inflation.
BTW, do these terrorist enablers actually think that repeating 'Iraq is a failure' often enough will make it so? Delusional losers.

You know, what gets to me is that it doesn't matter that this stuff is garbage. Lefties know that propoganda works. They didn't learn anything from the Dan Rather fiasco.
I have to admit, it got to me today...on a day we should be celebrating.

This sniveling weasal was once Britain's Foreign Secretary -- which indicates just how deep the rot in even Britain is.

Robin Cook? Isn't he that guy on "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous"?

No bias in this reporting, eh?

"the disastrous military failure of its adventure in Iraq..." I wonder if this man will be singing the same toon when Iraqis turn out in large numbers to vote. I wonder if will matter when they begin to form their own government. And I wonder when the Iraqis are setting an example for the rest of the Arab world on how to live by the rule of law, protecting minorities, and threatening no other peoples if this Robin Cook will realize that this "disatrous military failure" was a success.
