Please forgive me if I offended,

Oh no, no offense taken at all. I was just making an observation. I'm not the least bit sensitive about my "condition". Lord knows I'm in front of people enough to get over it.

The V.P. is on thanking all at the ball now. Looks good not the least bit tired. The crowd just gave him a rousing cheer for thanking the military.

Members of the United States military pose for photographs during the Commander In Chief's Ball honoring the inauguration of President George W. Bush in Washington, January 20, 2005. The ball is being held for all members of the United States armed forces and is one of many stops the President and his wife will be making tonight.

Cheney: We attended another commander-in-chief ball a few weeks ago. Kabul, Afghanistan. First democratically elected leader in their 5,000 year history.

Thanking the military which made it possible.

I don't think they did last time (meet up, that is)

But the Veep mentioned that they're in a race.

Laura's Dress is just spectacular!

I've been watching C-SPAN too. The two women who have been giving comentary seem to be reasonably non-partisan.

What I've also noticed is that even the few dems who have called in seemed to be reasonable and not angry. One woman even admitted she was hoping the celebration would have been for Kerry, but she was very impressed by the President's speech.

We've done that! You are so special to me that whether we're together in person or in spirit makes no difference.

Hugs to you both, and to all the other FReepers we love as well.
