Sir SuziQ promised me that if Clinton were impeached and convicted that he would take me out dancing. Unfortunately, the Senate wimped out and didn't convict so I didn't get my dance date. We'll be married 30 years this October, and we've NEVER been dancing. Ironically, we share our Anniversary with x42 and Her Heinous; same date, same year.

Well, who should know better than you and I about how we can't count on the media? Four years ago we had to start our own coverage of the Bush campaign, after the media imposed a blackout!

I guess we are going to have to buy a TV network. I will be working on this...CBS is looking like a likely prospect. LOL!

I'm still fuming at the snideness of Jennings and Quinn and wish they'd both take a look at Bill and Hillary's wedding picture. Frumpsville. Somewhere I read that she'd dashed out at the last minute and snatched a dress off the rack.....it looks like something from J.C. Penny. I wish I could remember where I saw that picture. It would make a good one for FR's collection to be dragged out the next time any criticism of Laura and the girls.

I really like color in a gown typically but she looks elegant and not at all washed out which can be a problem for other women her age.

I'm partial to color myself; can't stand black dressy dresses. But Laura's dress has just enough color to set off her eyes and her hair, so she just seems to GLOW! The sparkles in the gown assist, as well. ;o)

Laura Bush is such a beautiful woman. The Bush daughters have grown up and turned into lovely young women. IMHO

If I could be granted one wish for Free Republic it would be that no one ever mention DU again. We give them far too much attention. I think if we ignored them they would fade into the woodwork. I believe it's FR that's keeping them advertised.
