Posted on 01/20/2005 3:22:49 PM PST by fishtank

Let's go!

This needs to be on the table.

Would at least one Christian minister who has the President's ear ---- give him an earful????

You've done nothing but disrupt threads all day.

I guess that's what sedevacantism does. It destroys the mind.

You ought to go to bed before you get banned.

What does that mean? Why don't you sit down and shut up, you jagoff.

Thank you, Sinkspur. That poster has been very offensive.

He is not religious. He takes a very 'Pascal-esque' approach to religious beliefs.

Is this your first post to this thread? And you are accusing me of being a disrupter? I have posted several times today, on different threads, that my opinion is that if Bush were to give special mention to the Koran he ought to at least give special mention to the unborn.

If you believe that I ought to be banned for supporting the right to life...report me.

Well Mark Levin and Matt Drudge basically shut him down when he tried to pull a 'Bill O'Reilly' ratings puff up. Mark Levin is number one even on FM between 6-8 pm in New York.

You just have to get used to presidential politics. It was enough that he said he couldn't imagine a president not having a relationship with the Lord.

He mentioned the unborn, he just didn't mention them in the way YOU wanted.

Sedevacantism destroys the mind.

It was enough that he said he couldn't imagine a president not having a relationship with the Lord.

And then he positively references the Koran which degrades women and blasphemes the Mother of the Lord. Does that make sense to you?

No it doesn't but I'm not the President. I wouldn't make a good president because I'm a right wing loon. With all our troops in the ME and also doing rescue in the Indian Ocean you want him to denigrate the Koran on public tv? It's not wise and would put our troops in danger. Just be happy with his SCOTUS nominees

No, that would be foolish. No mention at all would be fine with me.

In post 125 you listed a series of, if not excuses, at least attempts to explain the total silence, lack of introspection and just plain bizarre non-response by muslims generally to the 911 mass murder.
The thrust of this discussion is not so much the nutcase Savage, but the reason he is being discussed at all, is the mention of islam at all in the inaugural speech, and how mentioning them as equals by implication deludes both them and us to the nature of islam, and its possible future.

Your analysis lists possible explanations but assumes that they are susceptible to change by pretending they are morally or ethically equals in faith and in deed appears to be an exercise in futility, since it has zero effect on where they live and what they experience and hear daily.

He had to mention it. Whether you like it or not, Islam is one of the three 'Abrahamic' faiths because they all started with one man, ole Abraham. Let that be a lesson to men who cheat and think having illegitimate children then abandoning them is okay. I do not blame the President for mentioning the Koran. It keeps CAIR off his back. I'll bet he says otherwise behind closed doors.
