He is the President of all of us. We have many Americans who are Muslim. He mentioned the Bible, The Torah and the Koran. What is the issue here?

Savage boring use to be interesting, now ranks right up there with Randy Rhodes, maybe he should move to Air America to bring up their ratings.

The Koran has NO part in the founding or continuance of our nation.

Yes, Muslims are free to be Muslims here in America, be if you give a Muslim a Koranic inch, he'll take the whole Sharia Mile.

Can't you see that?

I am listening on C-Span right now and President Bush included the "the words of the Koran"

I admit I find that distrubing, why include the Koran at all?

Its called "Strategery".

Face it, there are Christians who believe in peace and loving their neighbors, and there are Christians who fill trucks full of AMSOL and park them in front of federal buildings.

There are moderate muslims too. Bush knows this.

Either he wipes out the entire muslim religion, or he works to help the moderates gain control of the people who hold the Koran to be true. Since the former is not likely to happen, he is doing the only practical thing.

I bet it actually *pisses off* the militant muslims when he does this.

THink about it.

I knew this was going to happen.
How very petty, but it figures Savage would jump on this.

He mentioned the koran because he wants to provide a tolerant moderate position for Muslims instead of the jihad option that is at war with us.

President Bush is making it clear that not all Muslims are considered enemies.

His Inauguration speech was primarily about promoting and creating freedom for ALL people.

2+2=4

We're going to be attacking Iran to take out suspected sites or nodding and winking for Israel to get moving at it.

By citing the Koran as a respected source for a major religion...yeah right up there with the bible...he is recognizing and seeking Muslims as future allies.

Of course, what the hell do I know?

Even though we all KNOW this is and Islamofascist War, Bush will never say that. It would be disasterous.

"Savage is a loon."

His brief moments of lucidity are getting fewer and fewer. I tuned out and wont be back. "for entertainment purposes only" should be the disclaimer, not for serious consideration.
