Yes, I think the Chief has a speech aid (I forgot what it is called). Did he have a traecheotomy? He looks quite well though.

He did have a trach - the tube is still in and is visible in one photo. The speech aids have improved so much that you could hardly hear the breathiness in his voice.

He looks a little peaked, but oh so much better than I expected after that horrible hit piece earlier in the week. More to the point, he looked happy.
