I just wish that these spoiled protest pansies would go spend some time in the more "Progressive" countries they admire (ie: Cuba). They'd be locked up or shot for doing crap like this.

It wasn't a snowball...it was an egg or an apple.

I love Ken Duberstein. Chris was trying to equate the
protesters to the freedom the president talked about.
Ken shut him down...said those thugs aren't on the same
page as GWB.

Ken also "gets" the speech. Where Chris et al have been
analyzing it from the way foreign LEADERS will hear it,
Ken points out that this speech was aimed at the PEOPLE
throughout the world. He used the words "clarion call"...and that's exactly what I think it was. (I've only
read it, haven't heard it yet. But it sounds to me like
Bush was telling the people of the world to "rise up"!)

There are a lot more people on this route than there was in 2000.

Yet another example of hypocrisy.

The protesters are upset because they have to STAY where they are now that Bush has passed; they wanted to be able to run "along" the route to keep it up the entire time.

Ah, more liberals who are "deeply disappointed" ;-)

Thanks for the update RetroKitten! I can't wait to get home, but that is a good 2 hours from now! I am just hating not being able to see it all!

This day is ruined for me.

Condi has a boyfriend?

Well, that's OK I suppose ... she hasn't met Mr. Magnetic! Spodefly!

Condi, don't jump into anything with the handsome football player type. Plain looking flabby middle-aged white guys have lots to offer, too.

Brian Williams on NBC is saying they're getting reports that police had to use spray on the protesters at one area and the protesters are saying they need medical attention.

Maybe if they hadn't thrown all the snow at the presidents car they could have used it to clean out their eyes.

"the protesters are saying they need medical attention."

OK...Take them to the hospital and lock them up in a psycho ward.

"They are saying that there is a HUGE crowd, some inside keeping warm. Hanging out windows, balconies, etc."

Who is saying this? Certainly not Shep Smith and Ceci. They are saying that the crowd is smaller than in 2000.

It's not a big deal. No matter who is president, there will be protesters. You can bet if this was a Clinton inauguration, I would be out there with a sign yelling in protest!

It's the American way. We disagree sometimes but we don't let it spoil the day. God bless America!

I wish they would stick with Brian Wilson, he's got the best spot in the parade.

Boo Freaking Hoo. I'd like a night of passion with Angelina Jolie, but Mrs. Exile wouldn't like it. These babies need to learn to deal with it.
