WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP)-The judge tho will decide whether Washington state should redo its long, drawn-out vote for governor is described as fair and thorough-and no stranger to election challenges.
Judge John E. Bridges, who was scheduled Thursday to hear preliminary motions in the gubernatorial case, nullified a mayoral election five years ago because the winning candidate didn't live in the city.

Last night I saw the 1976 movie Carrie. It's not the first time I saw it, but anyway, the way the kids threw away some ballots and replaced them with fake ballots reminded me of the election for governor in Washington --- and, of course, similar electoral practices in rat precincts all over the country.
I hope your wrong. Unfortunately, I believe you will be right.
Praise God! Maybe GW will take notice and appoint him to a supreme court position.
I think the most satisfactory detail -- if Gregoire is removed -- will be the consternation and figurative (alas, not literal) wrist-slashing that will go on at DU etc, and hearing the Hollyier-Than-Thous from the entertainment industry shoot off their mouths.
In the long run, it'll be better if the challenge is turned back, because that will blow back against the Dims starting next year in the Washington elections. Gregoire will be tainted by her illegitimacy. True, she and her cadre in the legislature will cause some damage while they remain in power, but their extremism will alienate their old base.
If the challenge goes forward and results in Gregoire's removal, the blowback will be directed at Republicans in Washington state.
It's easy for YOU to say that, since YOU won't have to live with the damage that they can, and will, do.
I have a novel idea. How about we give YOU Gregoire, and her fellow democrats, and we here in Washington sit back and tell you how great it will be for them to destroy your state because it will be good for the next election? Sound like an idea?
How about you keep your hostile and nasty remarks to yourself? Sound like an idea?
Hostile and nasty? I dont' see what I said as "hostile and nasty". If you chose to take it that way, it's YOUR problem, not mine.
Your post was far more nasty than anything I've said.
