Hey, I think Laura looks really nice. I think the dress is perfectly appropriate for this kind of ball. I'm sure tomorrow's dress will be more 'elegant'.

The dress may be appropriate,in that it covers her and is a ball gown,but the fabric is not only hideous,but out of style and a terrible color. The drawings of the dress Laura will wear tomorrow,don't bode well for your supposition of "elegance".
