President and Mrs. Bush visited the National Archives to view some of our nation's founding documents.
In spite of some Senators Behaving Badly (particularly John Kerry and Barbara Boxer), the Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted Wednesday to confirm Condoleezza Rice as secretary of state; the nomination now goes to the full Senate for a vote.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island: one day to go till W2!

I'm going to watch all day, too, after I put out my flag so all my neighbors who sprouted Kerry signs can just grit their teeth.

Hi snugs. Check out #91. There's a photo of the VP with his baby grandson on his lap.

**Cheney says he thought that the treatment Condi received by the senators was "fundamentally unfair".**
Nice one Dick said nicely but we all know what he means

I agree.I'm glad someone does. They had infants and elderly people in that VIP box. They should have had something more than just heated pillows. The presidential reviewing stand for the parade looks fully enclosed this year. Remember four years ago when it rained on the first row of VIP's because the roof didn't come out all the way over the reviewing stand?

Thanks for the link. I don't know what to make of the story. It said the group will get information from the last inaugural, which could very well be obsolete by now. But the judge should be kicked off the bench (and possibly imprisoned) for giving them even that much.

Still sexy in her middle age.

But the judge should be kicked off the bench (and possibly imprisoned) for giving them even that much.Absolutely. I can't imagine what the rationale is for: (1) the lawsuit the protestors brought to get their hands on the security info, and (2) the judge turning it over to them.

With what you pay a gallon that is hardly an issue

You would think the judge would ask them why they want this information--why are they going to all this trouble to get it? It's a little unsettling.
