CONDI GETS 16-2 YEAS. GUESS WHO THE TWO NO'S WERE!

Posted on 01/19/2005 8:32:36 AM PST by Grendel9

It was pretty obvious that Kerry got Boxer to do his dirty work for him when questioning Condi. It wouldn't have looked too good for the MA Senator if HE had taken on Condi himself.

Rice became National Security Advisor to President George W. Bush in 2001. Rice received a BA in political science from the University of Denver at age 19, followed by an MA in political science from the University of Notre Dame in 1975, and a PhD from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver in 1981. An expert on Russia and Eastern Europe, she began teaching political science at Stanford University in 1981. From 1989 to 1991 she advised the Bush administration on foreign policy and military issues, including the unification of Germany and the breakup of the Soviet Union. Rice later returned to Stanford, and was named provost, the university's budget and academic official, in 1993. In 1999 she took a leave of absence to advise the Bush campaign. Author of several books on foreign policy, Rice is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and holds honorary doctorates from Morehouse College, the University of Alabama, and the University of Notre Dame.

No, I am not just starting to think that. It is just the way I framed my statement. I have held the opinion that elitist liberals are racists for quite some time.

>I am starting to think that many of these liberals are possibly racists. They always claim to be pro-minorities, but in reality, they are only for liberal minorities.<

You said it. Maybe not all libs are racist, but the elitist libs certainly are.

They use minorities for votes and that's it. They don't care about minorities really getting ahead. They like to keep them in the slavery and oppression of Welfare just like the master of any plantation would. They don't want any runaways like Condi out there because that could be bad for the future of their agenda.

Condi has to be thinking that these guys are such a bunch of clowns, and can't believe how anyone could act that way in front of the American public.

For two reasons, she is a THREAT to THEM.

And here are the two reasons.

Condoleeza Rice rising to the TOP of the country, then shows that with hard work it can be done, therefore it forces those critics to actually work HARDER in their own fields... and that is something they don't want to do because of their patent slothfulness.

Secondly, once she DOES make it to the top of the American system, it so totally takes away one of their biggest bitching and whining points as they tried to build the victimhood-based 'Community of Neverending Entitlement': That "you can not make it to the top if you are Black, due to racism in America".

This throws out one of their arguments and they are left with little defense. So, Condoleeza Rice symbolizes a big THREAT to their arguing points, and their own excuse for existence.

They also lost their arguing point when they claimed "Minorities" in this country have it bad and cannot succeed, until certain "minorities" like Asians came over as immigrants, penniless refugees, what not, and started to compete with, overtake and then eventually sweep the floor with lazy African-Americans, in academia, work, professions, etc. across the land, also taking such "minorities are victims!" arguments away from the Welfare Lobby. That is why they so often equally hate Asians as well as the Condoleeze Rice's of the world. They are uncomfortable and jealous. Threatened. It shatters everything they stand on and lights an uncomfortable fire underneath their own excuse-making and whining asses.

That's a nice resume but hardly one that qualifies to run this country. All her positions have been appointments and advisory. All her experience is in one area, FP.

Where is her Executive experience, what has she built or run? Nothing.

What decisions had she made, not advised on, but made? None.

What campaign has she successfully waged? None.

What is her domestic issues experience (SS, Education, Healthcare, Immigration, etc...)? She has none.

What is her stated ambition? To run the NFL.

Rice is ideally suited to the job she currently holds and the one she is up for. There is nothing in her resume that indicates that she would do well in any other, more executive capacity, certainly not the most important executive position on the planet. Sorry.

Seek, you wrote

"Since when should race be a consideration when voting for someone? I don't want people to approve of Condi because of how or where she grew up. I want votes to be counted on how well she's done her job so far."

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I do not think that race should have anything to do with whether or not someone gets a job. I am totally against "affirmitive action."

But what I was saying is that if the media were to report this story the same way that it would report the story if a republican were doing what Kerry and Boxer are doing, that the question of racism would be asked. Rember Trent Lott?

And when the history is written on Condi Rice, I think that Kerry and Boxer are going to look like they voted against her for racist reasons. Biden cited the legit reasons to vote against someone and Rice did not meet any of those cited reasons. So why really did Kerry and Boxer vote against her? These people always vote against minorities that they don't like, even though they try to present themselves as great defenders of advancing minorities. History is catching up with them and they will be exposed for the libs that they are.

History will remember that it was a republican that appointed Thomas, Powell, and Rice. History will remember these facts.

When democrats have had the opportunity they have never put minorities in these high of positions.

I also noted Kerry's expression when he said "Nay". He looked totally disgusted. He's a thoroughly unpleasant human being. My congratulations to Dr. Rice!

Abe Lincoln:

Age 22, failed in business Age 23, ran for legislature and was defeated. Age 24, failed again in business. Age 25, elected to legislature. Age 26, sweetheart died. Age 27, had a nervous breakdown. Age 29, lost in the election for speaker. Age 31, lost in the election for elector. Age 34 lost in the election to the Congress. Age 37, elected to Congress. Age 39, lost in the election to the Congress. Age 46, lost in the election to the Senate. Age 47, lost in the election for vice president. Age 49, lost in the election to the senate. Age 51, elected President of the United States of America.

The rest you know. Chalk it up to a "sneaky feeling" I get from the calm, methodical, diplomatic way she conducts herself. She da man.
