Insert Ted Kennedy pics hereWon't the size of the pics send the bandwidth through the roof?
To: ArmyBratproud
The similarities will end when the case gets to court and there are no billionaire bucks for a bailout. (or is that buy off)

He thought that because BLIMP MAN got away with it, he had the idea he could too.
Problem is he's not a kennedy, he can't lie a good as BLIMP MAN and he does not have enough money to pay people off.

What he needs to do is Hire Joe Kennedy Jr.(the one reportedly going to run for NY Attorney General) To defend him.
Now that would be funny.

We have a sitting US Senator, an evil blow-hard malicious alcoholic to boot, who got away with bloody murder. Literally.
To: ArmyBratproud
it wont be the same unless he calls a cousin to ask if he will say he was driving the car

I believe what actually happened was that Teddy had Mary Jo drop him off near his house to drive the car back to the party, but being unfamiliar with the area and the danger, she drove off the bridge and drowned.
Most likely Teddy didn't know what had happened to Mary Jo until the next morning.
Rather than tell the truth he opted for some perverted form of damage control and told a lie.
There was actually a book written on this theory, and it fits all the known circumstances perfectly, better than the lie Teddy wound up telling.

"better than the lie Teddy wound up telling."Did you forget the sarcasm tag or is it that you have not read the statements of eyewitness accounts of his own assistants/attorneys?

A horrible story but when I read about "leaving his girlfriend for dead" the first thing I thought of was Teddy!

BULLROAR Whatever that means. I wasn't in your shop class. You must have me confused with someone else.
Besides, it's not like that version of the story puts Teddy in any better of a light. It still makes him out to be a scumbag. He deliberately put the girl in danger for his own convenience, and she died. He just didn't happen to be physically present when she did, but he caused it.
