Men like Dr. Coomer are heroes. Having been a volunteer in a battered women's shelter, I can really appreciate how helpful the doctor and his male friends must be.

I shop at the Wal-Mart that this little girls mom worked at and know the manager and a number of the employees well.
I was told by some of them he was from Mexico.

I truly don't think men know the power they have over one another in situations like these. All it takes is for one man to say to another, "Dude. That is not a cool thing to do, let's get you some help," and it could work miracles if the abusers are called on their behavior by a peer early enough. (Yes, I know. Pie in the Sky, but it's better than all of society sitting on their hands until these heartbreaking situations come to light.)

It's amazing to me that this hasn't been tried before. It works in AA Meetings, Anger Management meetings, Weight Loss clubs; why not for abusers on a man-to-man basis?

This is where we can not stray from holding values - a moral compass that does not change - an unwavering belief in good and bad. The dems would have us believe that this guy should get treatment not a death sentence. He should be tortured and killed as an example to all who would do such a crime to an innocent child. Unfortuantely our society does not value life and coutless little innocent children are murdered and abused while the perps are often given little or no penalty - in fact many dems/libs think the offender is the one we should feel sorry for not the victim. These are the democrat values.

As a Christian man, I know I should pray for this man (It really is hard to call him a 'man'), but the dad in me disagrees with this statement:

.....unless it is preceeded by a lengthy, very painful torture and includes at least part of what he did to his daughter. Frankly, I cannot imagine a punishment strong enough for someone like this animal. Only God can punish this beast appropriately, which will be more punishment than anyone here can administer. I guess it is best that way.
