These hearing are so lame. Listen to Voinovich ramble on like a jerk. Just ask her the damn questions and quit the grandstanding.

You are right--wouldn't be surprised at all if Kerry skips out for the afternoon session

We'll have to keep an eye out for his vote

He is know for skipping out of town early

WHAT?! We could have another crisis in Kosovo according to Voinovich?? You mean Clinton's air-bombing, no boots on the ground war hasn't worked in the long term?

Condi says must resolve Balkan issues or the rest of Europe can't be free. Says Kosovo, Serbia, is a thorny set of problems.

Since it's Kerry, that lunch ought to last about three months or so, unless another chance for serious media face time comes up first.

I missed that. He's so overpaid.

Now Voinovich brings up global anti-Semitism. Encourages Condi to give committment to the issue. Says he's concerned about the budget of hte OSCE to monitor the anti-Semitism issue. Wants to know if Condi knows about another conference to be held in Spain in June, recommends she be there.

She says she will look into budget issue. He says the Russians are slowing it down.

It's the first time Kerry has been there in years. Kerry is a bum for taking money for a job he has not done. But what's new, Kerry has always been a bum! He has spent a lifetime mooching off someone else.

I'm surprised Kerry could find Washington. He has been there so seldom. Not that it matters, Kerry basically has no real legislative history on his own. As a Senator he has not made any difference. He is an empty suit. Kerry is like the character in the movie "Being There". Kerry is a real life "Chance the Gardener". A well-dressed air head that sounds like he knows what he is talking about but is actually babbling most of the time.

Fake colored hair, fake face, shaved eyebrows, fake Senator. He just showed up for the cameras. John Kerry, the world's biggest fake, and what did he do? Nothing. Nada. Rice didn't even blink.

Kerry 0 / Bush 1

Kerry 0 / Rice 1

Liars like to serve up lies in fragments. Without the context you gave -- a very simple and good one, btw, thank you -- that 3/5ths a man seems horrible and demeaning. Actually -- it enabled the free and hobbled the slaver. Eventually allowing the free to liberate the slaves.

It was NOT racist either. A white slave was also 3/5th's a person.
