Condi is the only person I know who can have a sh!^ eating grin on her face and still give someone the stink eye...love it!
To: Howlin
I know he met with Syrian leaders. PLO. France. Iran. That's all I remember. So does Mr. Peach because I had a hissy fit every time I read articles about those meetings.

What was that sound over Feingold? Did someone just rip a zipper or tear a seam?

Oh boy, Senator Boxer is coming up..hopefully not before lunch!
To: Barlowmaker
Senator Coleman is chairman of the subcommittee investigating the Oil for Food scandal. I think he would have brought up the issue regardless of this thread.Perhaps I should've used the < /sarcasm > signal. :)

At least Feingold seems to realize when he's been smacked down. Well, maybe not. He's setting himself up again. He's troubled. Says we risk losing focus. It's a self-defeating strategy.

He rated the stare. LOL
She disputed nearly everything he said. But very nicely.
Feinman: We haven't talked about the war on terror much today although we've been here for hours. Unless you consider the Iraq war as central to the war on terror. ANd I don't.

These Democrats are really obsessed with a Clintonesque type shuttle diplomacy, aren't they? It achieves nothing of substance, but serves to force our Secretary of State and this Administration to pay obsequious homage to Bonn, Paris and The Hague.
To: BibChr
Will do if I can stand to listen that long!

Off topic, but what was up with Boston Legal this Sunday? Are they going to castrate Denny Crane?

You mean you could eat lunch and then listen to her, you have a more stronger stomach than I.
To: Peach
The more I hear from Condi, the more I want her to run in '08. And I already wanted her to run. this Lady is absolutely Brilliant. None of these guys is gonna shake her in the slightest.

Candice Bergen could easily ruin that show; too many snide comments.

Condi is the smartest women in the room. Any room.
She wants to be the NFL commissioner and I don't think she has aspirations for higher office. Unfortunately.

I sympathize. Perhaps you could put in for hazardous(-to-your-mental-health)-duty pay?
