Lugar also did say that they might wrap it up this evening, if everything goes fast.

I missed it, but it may be a blessing...hopefully it'll be on TV, just like Hillary's bad behavior at Bush's speech to Congress a couple years ago.C-SPAN re-airs this hearing tonight at 8pm ET, so you'll have your chance to catch it! ;-)

He still might show up later for his question period...Maybe he'll "have a plan".IF Kerry could find the courage to show his horse face here, he would launch into a monologue about his impotent trip to Iraq, Syria and France.

I won't be doing too much play by play today...ah, Hagel up.
Thanks Rice for agreeing to four more years of service.
First question: Exit strategy.
What are plans after elections?
Rice: Test for Iraqis is find a way forward after elections and we'll help guide but it is largely their task. We'll help more with building up their own defenses.
To: Bahbah
Graham has been such a disappointment. I wonder if he really believes we aren't doing a good job training Iraqi forces or just said we weren't to get invited to the Sunday tv shows? I suspect the latter.

LOL, but we have a committee of lard behind blow-hards who spend their Sunday's on the tube puffing themselves up.

Kennedy would put me over the edge if he was on this committee. How I hope Kerry shows up...but I think that girly man gigolo knows he doesn't have the intellect to spar with Condi.

I agree. Lindsay has ambitions that he thinks can be advanced by TV fact time. I think he's wrong.

What really really burns me is Biden's attempt to portray the Bush administration of being dishonest with the American people.
Personally speaking I see these liberals which ever side of the isle they inhabit as much the enemy as the terrorist we must stop.
This is looking like a 'tag' team seeking to set a snare to use against President Bush during this Administration. I sure hope that Condi is aware she has stepped into a snake pit, and the vipers all of them have a bigger target than herself in their sights.

I didn't think Kerry could refuse the tv face time but maybe he's just not up for the task.
He is such a lackluster representative of his state...they are getting robbed.
