Oh dear, Boxer wants to move for more questioning tomorrow. Lugar was kind of hoping to take a vote tonight but he'll grant more quuestioning tomorrow if they want before voting.

Oh wonderful, Kerry up again. After Allen told Boxer not to take offense at his use of the term "cross-examine" Kerry mutters about not wanting to get in the middle...thereby putting himself in the middle.

He says something to Rice eliciting her response that she's pleased to take questions as long as they wish.

"you really want the job" he intones unctously.

She sparkles as she says she would love to dialog as much as they want.

ED is the token DEM. I could easily do without her. The rest of the lineup is really good, though.
I like Lauren Green and Kirin Chetry. They could easily replace ED who seems way out of her element.

Boxer just wants to keep it going so that her staff will have a chance to research Rice's answers and try to find something to trip her up on. The rest of the democrats do too, but just aren't as obvious about it.

Rice knows better so she's all for keeping the hearing going.

I think all Democrat Committee member should be required to state whether or not they need to be there or can anyone ask their stupid question.
