As much as I'm down on the Supreme Court these days I can't see them giving Mr. Newdow much attention here. I mean, let's face it, the Supreme Court's own everyday traditions reference God. They apparently see no need to take an axe to tradition just because it might offend Michael Newdow or atheists like him.

Michael Newdow is my neighbor. Strange guy. We caught him mowing his lawn one night at 10:30PM.
BTW, did you know that when you go on FOX News a limo comes to pick you up? I didn't until Newdow got picked up for Hannity and Colmes on Friday.

He is strange. He appears to be a supreme narcissist. A prayer at the inaugural will do no harm to him, yet because he doesn't like it, he wants everyone to bow to his will.

LMAO! Or just tell him you will pray he finds his way to the Lord. That will really annoy him. Wow it's late here, nite all.

Another thing about Newdow is that while our neighborhood was having a huge fight with a water agency who wanted to put a pumping plant in our back yards (We live near the river), he was absolutely silent. And that actually affected him!

Just learned he isn't even a lawyer. Why is the court listening to him in the first place.

Put up a lighted cross in your front yard.
That will surely get a response.

This is so sad. This guy is a lawyer and an M.D. A remarkable achievement. But instead of having people look up to him he's posturing to be remembered as a litigious spoilsport twerp.

Mr. Newdow has argued in court that prayer by Christian ministers is akin to racial discrimination because it makes him, a staunch atheist, feel like an "outsider."
Yes that is what the supreme court is for to right injustice toward feelings.....
To: Walkingfeather
He's an "outsider" by choice! People usually feel left out when they want to be part of something, but are purposely excluded. Me thinks he protests too much.

One of my neighbors used to run a chainsaw at midnight.
He sold firewood, he was also a Mormon.
Somebody complained, so he started cutting at 5 am instead.
He was actually a very decent man.
As for Newdow, well, I get the impression he just wants publicity.
