And another thing. Aren't the Democrat voting districts run and operated by Democrats? If there weren't enough voting machines, who's fault is that?

This is the best part of the silly lie that Jesse Jackson and now Kerry are propagating. In Ohio (I'm a Buckeye), voting is controlled by a county election bd. which contains 4 members, two of each party. If there is a problem in a county, the D's are in on it--by law. Also, most of the problem counties are controlled administratively by Democrats so there is no possibility the R's have rigged anything as the election bd is 50/50 and the rest of the authority is D controlled. Look for an AP piece explaining this LOL

In Columbus a democrat was in charge of designating how many machines each precinct received (I'm not sure about the other counties). But we can't really expect the dems to take responsibility for their own flub-ups...that would break tradition.
