This week on "THE OBAMA FACTOR"
The OBAMA Factor | 1.16.2004

The New York Post chats up the idea of an Obama Vice-Presidency in 2008. The idea is as running mate with present New York Attorney General - Eliot Spitzer. The idea is ridiculous because we all know Hillary Clinton will be the candidate.

The Obama Factor does believe that Obama makes the most sense for a Hillary candidacy as a named VP.

Not surprisingly this silly idea stemmed from the "Eliot Spitzer for Governor" website...

The (Chicago) Daily Herald is also pointing out that Obama is still behaving as though he is still running for office. Though we guess now would not be too early a time to begin working donors and crowds for 2008 VP votes... He held a very similar townhall style gathering just days before and the Chicago Tribune loved it... But what can you expect from the parent company of the L.A. Times?

It turned out to be a bit of a busy week for him - he opened yet another patronage clearing house...er we mean "office" in Springfield.

(Paranthetical thought here: why does every "news story" written about Obama in Illinois press seem to be written like a love sonnet. This doesn't even include flat out opinion pieces from other parts of the nation. So much fawning, so little actual antagonistic reporting. How silly!)

Personally, think Obama too strong a personality for Hillary. She will not stand to be upstaged. . . Think he would have to be worried about 'watching his back' if he teamed with Hillary.

Obama would not last long. . .whether candidate or V.P.

Also I doubt very much the Dems will nominate someone who's only been in the Senate for four years by then. I think they learned their lesson with JEdwards. That being written, I do think that if Condi gets the GOP nod then they could in desp. go for Obama.

This Osama Bama, Bahama Mamma facination lays it all out!

For a NATIONAL POLITICAL PARTY to place all of their hopes on a First Lady, who's own credibility is Questionable and a FIRST TERM Senator, to lead them in their Quest to find the LOST "HOLY GRAIL" of their Past is real proof that the Dummo's are in DEEP DODO!!

The Sky really is falling!!

If the Republicans fufill thier 2004 election promises to the electorate, the 2006 elections will be the Death Nail for the National Socialist Democratic Party.

The Dems already tried the "lets nominate a flashy young superstar VP and hope he carries the Presidential candidate to victory" plan in 2004. Big failure.

They can just bring it as far as I'm concerned.

Mr. Obama is going nowhere fast!!! Both he and American Blacks have blown their political power to never/neverland. Hispanics and Asians are the ticket these days, and will remain so for a long, long, time. Let's face facts, the Congressional Black Caucus and NAACP do not presently have one iota of political power. Being Black, liberal and Democrat is passe!!! Certainly the "Ohio vote escapade" by the CBC went nowhere and actually has hurt Blacks, pushing them even further behind the eight ball.

I'm surprised that the term I coined to describe this obsessive fawning, Obasms, hasn't become more popular. We need to spread this meme, folks.

The only black people in politics who are going to go anywhere are black republicans IMHO.

The fact that some dems are even contemplating Obama at this early stage of his career to become a possible veep candidate only 4 years from now is puzzling and indicative of how deep their denial runs--they have only to look at John Edwards. The dems and the press alike fawned over him--his (generic and bland) good looks, his down-home personability and charisma, his articulateness, but the reality fell short, which is not surprising, because the way they pumped him up, not many people can live up to that kind of hype. They are saying and doing the same thing yet again with Obama, another political novice like Edwards. Deja vu strikes again.

The Democrats that I know seemed to jump on the Obama bandwagon during the convention. His speech really impressed them.

I hear that Kennedy has asked Obama to officially
change his name to Osama bin Laden, both to avoid
any future embarassment for Teddy, and so that the
general public knows what the Democrat Party really
stands for.

Obama is a young clean cut, nice looking black Democrat. In their books that makes him Presidential material. Now, what has he done except a little surfing in Hawaii??? Please list his accomplishments, if any.
