Thank heavens I was working so hard to put Ohio in the BUSH column that I missed out on the bogus exit polls!

Same here, thank goodness I missed those exit polls too. I was volunteering all day long in Jacksonville, FL. I was pumped and excited...and I'm so glad I didn't hear about the "exit polls" until late that night!

Be glad you missed it and thank you for your work in Ohio.

I was furious at DRUDGE, certain bloggers and the people losing their senses when those numbers hit. The stock market even went on a dive!!

I was a poll challenger in Michigan. When I went to drop off my stuff at the Republican HQs the faces couldn't have been longer so I went straight home rather than to the victory party. By the time I got settled they were beginning to discover the truth about the exit polls. I will always be thankful that I didn't know and I will always resent that the President was again robbed of an election night victory speech.
