Early in December, with a photographer and his assistant, I drove from Nebraska, near the geographical center of the United States, to the heart of Texas -- more than 700 miles, through empty spaces and sprawling cities and all or part of four states. We headed pretty much due south, no dodging or weaving. And never did we pass within 100 miles of a county that voted for Democrat John F. Kerry in the recent election.We were voyaging on the Red Sea....

We give every out-of-towner a good looking over before saying anything. It's not done in a mean way, but you need to know what the score is. Never trust what you don't know. I should know, because I came from the blue land. They think we are just a bunch of dumb hicks. They just got proven wrong and are too clueless to see it happening.

You are right on the mark. I'm in Durango CO now, but have lived all over. I've used His gift of DISCERNMENT and DISCRIMINATION (in the true sense of the word, not the bastardized PC version), and have run into very few problems with people. I know, sometimes within minutes, if a certain person is worth investing in...His gifts really do work.
