For what? I'm telling you: we are being colonized right now. Conquest has started. When I see these mosques go up I get the same feeling the American Indian must have had when he saw the White Man erecting forts, made out of logs with pointed ends, 500 years ago up and down the East coast. Now our civilization has run its course and started to go the other way. New people with world views opposed to ours have shown up and are successfully gaining a stronghold in this land. You have heard the term "peak oil." Think Peak American Civilization.

Most people will say why worry about a few mosques? It is not the current number to worry about. It is the growth and the rate of change of growth. Watch for them to grow...exponentially. Think, compound interest curve. Think of a series like 1 10 100 1000 10000. The more mosques there are, the more there will be. They will aggresively crowd out those not like them. Soon they will have enough to have their own army. And we worried about a few soviet sleeper agents in the '50s? These folks are the ultimate sleepers. When they get settled in and decide they want to make some changes that affect all of us watch out.

We went to war against North Korea, North Vietnam, why to stop the spread of communism. The communists were threatening our way of life they said. Radical islam is not? The communists should have simply quietly moved here the way the muslims are. Would have avoided several wars excuse me police actions. Today we can't even stop the spread of radical islam to America. We're off nation building in the middle east while home goes to hell.

I am for impeaching Bush now just for his dereliction to protect the borders. Not to mention language and culture, tip hat to Mike Savage. Would see if the next President (Cheney? Cheney.) got the message. He has one year, if he fails impeach is a$$ too and keep going until we get the right one who can do the job. Forget about bringing honor back to the White House, that was four years ago, what have you done for me lately???

I wonder if after America has mutated into either AMecca or AMexico or some hybrid of both, will other nations miss us?

I love our President right to death, but I can't for the life of me understand why our borders haven't been protected and closed.

It's not just the Mosque's, but when the terrorists come across our borders, what better place to find shelter then in a Mosque of like-minded people?  They have to go somewhere, and a Mosque would hide them.

Impeachment isn't the answer. We could get someone in office that we didn't vote for and could be a hellava lot worse!

I feel that way myself. At one time, we had the fortitude to stand up to all of this until the 1960's with the "Free Love" and the hippies. I think that is the One Punch in the One-Two Punch to America we are seeing now and the Two Punch is what we are seeing now. I love President Bush dearly and support him but he is being weak on the border issue and despite the great efforts we are making in the war on terror, it is only buying us time unless we seal the borders.

All I can say to the lefty radicals of the 1960's, is "thanks for wrecking my country and taking it away from me." I was born in 1966 so I only have a very vague memory of them back then although I do recall being repulsed by them even when I was 2, 3 or 4 years old. I guess I would be grouped into the Generation X generation, although I'm an early model. I always felt that it would take us, along with sensible minded Baby Boomers (think Rush) and the one after us to fix things from what the hippies did and it would be a long process.

I'm a bit of a pessimist though, I think it is my nature but I do think my father was right when he said back in the early 1970's that the United States will not survive "in it's present form" by the time I grew up. He went on and said we'd either be in an atomic war or break up either peacefully or not so peacefully. Maybe the United States has "jumped the shark" (see Jump The Shark Site for an explaination of the term) or at least Fonzie is revving his motorcycle just before riding up the ramp to "jump the shark." I'm not saying the ideals we all love, believe and would fight for such as the idea of limited government, social conservatism and the Constitution are passe', like the Bible, these truths and ideas will never die or be outmoded, but I'm just saying as a society, we could end up being eclipsed.

It doesn't have to be that way and despite my long term pessimism, I will never give up the fight, I want to prove my father wrong, I want to prove me wrong but there is always thatn agging feeling wondering if we are wrong. Truth be told, I'm scared as well as angry to see where we are headed

Michael Savage is right, without preserving our borders, language and culture, the rest of our society, our way of life and the Constitution is meaningless. I don't know if impeaching President Bush is feasible although in the business world if someone isn't doing his or her job, they are let go, but impeaching is hard to do, it has only been done twice in our history and removal from office was not successful. A Democrat win in 2008 would shake things up a bit but that could be the last nail in our coffin.

I think it was Toynbee that said that empires last 200 years give or take. Well, if we take htat rule verbatim if we hold that standard to the British Empire, in 1763, they dealt France a blow in the French and Indian War (Seven Years War in Europe) to the point where they were the greatest power on planet Earth. Add 200 years, you get 1963, that was the time where decolonization was almost complete. Being a bit of an amateur historian myself, I think the United States as a power started in the War of 1812 when we held our own against the British. Some say we didn't win, but we didn;t lose and it showed the dominate power on the planet that we were not to be trifled with. So 1812 it is. Add 200 years, you get 2012, a few years down the road. We might see if Toynbee was right in our case.

I know I might get clobbered for this, but one interesting site that make me think about all of this is The John Titor Story where John Titor is an alleged time traveller from 2036 who came here in a time machine built into a 1967 Camaro. Well the skinny on the story is that we have civil unrest, then we end up in a Civil War, then an atomic war and finally things start to gel out. OK, maybe the time traveller stuff is way out there, I cannot prove that he is a time traveller nor can I disprove it, I do believe most things are possible. The skeptic's side of me, well, maybe John Titor is not a time traveller, but perhaps he or the people behind the site put the story out as a possible warning to where we are most likely headed.

Getting back to radical Islam and the "normal" Islamics who either quietly support them or do nothing out for legitimate fear or apathy are much worse than the sleeper Communist cells, as bad as they were, back in the Cold War.
