Manpower is so low nearby military facilities are guarded by civilian contractors. "Quelling disturbances" would be problematic.

Let the government put out a call for citizen action. There will be no shortage then.

I see the government as trying to smooth over what is happening in this country. Americans are not as stupid and gullable as they think we are.

"We are not a bloody people," said Ahmed Shedeed, director of the Islamic Center of Jersey City. "This is not from the Quran. This is not from Islam at all."

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 369: Narrated Jabir Abdullah: Allah's messenger said "Who is willing to kill Ka`b bin al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His apostle?" Thereupon Maslama got up saying, "O Allah's messenger! Would you like that I kill him?" The prophet said, "Yes". Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Ka`b). The prophet said, "You may say it." --- This was taken from the hadith of Bukhari and it tells how mohammed ask his followers to kill a Jewish poet who made some comments about mohammed.

He is talking about re-unification with the EASTERN ORTHODOX Church, Not the RC.

I sit corrected.

Although there is still an effort at eccumanism directed to the Coptic Church by Rome.

"You can be sure that there are Muslims that are very dangerous here in Memphis."

Oh...no doubt. My comment was in response to the idea that this attack was a robbery gone wrong as opposed to a planned hate crime.

Is there anything on earth more gullible and deluded than a university professor? The Muslims memorize and believe every word of the Quran. There is no doubt about the passage in question. It instructs Muslims to cut the throats of non-Muslims. Only a university professor could see ambiguity in that. As for the Muslims who lie about this, they are enlightened enough to worry about the bad PR their religion gets when there are throat-slittings and beheadings. They rightly worry that we will finally get sick of this cult and deport the whole rotten bunch of them back to the hellholes where Islam is the only religion allowed.

Your map leaves out the Portland, Oregon, connection to the ROP. But we are very PC here so it might hurt feelings, if we're overlooked.

Oh! It's not my map.  This map was published in 2002 and I have been told by several that new Mosque's have sprung up that aren't even on this map.

Steve Emerson published a book and put out this map.  I wish I could get an updated one, that's for sure.

"This is an amazing book. Brilliantly argued and meticulously documented, this book contains a devastating expose of the murderous deceit behind contemporary apologists for militant Islam--in the media, political arena, academia and "mainstream" radical Islamic groups. Read this book to learn why Islamic extremism is dangerously entrenched within the institutional Islamic leadership in Saudi Arabia and the United States." -- Steven Emerson, author of American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us and Director of the Investigative Project

Most people will say why worry about a few mosques? It is not the current number to worry about. It is the growth and the rate of change of growth. Watch for them to grow...exponentially. Think, compound interest curve. Think of a series like 1 10 100 1000 10000. The more mosques there are, the more there will be. They will aggressively crowd out those not like them. Soon they will have enough to have their own army. And we worried about a few soviet sleeper agents in the '50s? These folks are the ultimate sleepers. When they get settled in and decide they want to make some changes that affect all of us watch out.

I love our President right to death, but I can't for the life of me understand why our borders haven't been protected and closed.

It's not just the Mosque's, but when the terrorists come across our borders, what better place to find shelter then in a Mosque of like-minded people?  They have to go somewhere, and a Mosque would hide them.

Impeachment isn't the answer. We could get someone in office that we didn't vote for and could be a hellava lot worse!

Thanks
The significance of the Portland Islamics was they were acquiring isolated property to practice marksmanship and basic infantry maneuvers.
The statewide paper (the Oregonian) insulted our Republican Senator when he hinted we had terrorists in training here, then backed off when these ROP members were exposed.

Time for them to have their own Reformation.

It just ain't gonna happen in Islam.

Martin Luther "started" the Reformation because he read the Bible and saw it didn't conform to Church teachings and actions. His protest was against the Church hierarchy because of their perversion of Scripture.

The problem is, Muslims are reading their scripture and literally following it. It calls for murder, mayhem, a World Ummah and destruction of the infidel and his ways. A Muslim "reformation" would be completely contrary to their basic beliefs.

Islam is as much a "religion" as Communism was and just as dangerous. Their vision is a world in slavery to their god, Allah. Whether mankind is in thrall to atheism or Allah, Satan doesn't care which. It's all the same to him. He is the one behind it all.

Copts are Egyptian Christians, a minority group of about 6 million in a nation of 60 million, and have been killed in religious rioting and during attacks on Christian churches by Islamic militants. Coptic leaders also say they lack representation in the Egyptian government and are treated like second-class citizens.

Over the past decade, Copts have increasingly immigrated to the United States. Currently, they number about 1 million in this country. Coptic Orthodox churches are scattered throughout the nation and, while there is no official count, Coptic Web sites list about 10 large congregations in New Jersey and about 20 in the tri-state area.

Islamic leaders said Saturday that the murders could not have been the work of someone inspired by the Quran.

"We are not a bloody people," said Ahmed Shedeed, director of the Islamic Center of Jersey City. "This is not from the Quran. This is not from Islam at all."

OMG! I've just seen this article. It makes me sick – the terrorists are living among us.

No it's not a hate crime, Christians were the victims.

Robbery was ruled out, according to Fox News, because jewelry was found in the house.

"All Mosques should be placed under 24x7 surveillance. All Muslims here illegally should be rounded up and deported at once."

Yes, I agree..........but first we must stop them from building or establishing any more of these mosques.

A church in the town bordering ours here in Central Florida, sold their building (CHURCH) to these things to remodel into a guess what? A mosque.

and were coming to terms with the possibility that the family may have been targeted for death because of exchanges about religion ...

Coming to terms? ... COMING TO TERMS? Does that mean that the investigators are finding themselves forced to abandon political correctness and explore the possibility that the murders were 'religiously motivated?' We DO have hate speech and hate crime laws on the books. They should apply to all equally. Why are we afraid to apply the law now?
