That's what I am thinking too -- they used to be Muslims and ran screaming, but to no avail. Plus, the MO sounds an awful lot like 'beheading.' To me.

Most Egyptians were Christian until the conquest by theArabs around the 7th century and many remained so but persecution and jaziya etc wore the numbers down to present day 2%
