CAIRO, Egypt - A woman pulled a pistol on Iraqs defense minister in his office but then broke down in tears in a failed assassination plot hatched by an Iraqi group in Syria, the minister said in comments published on Saturday. Hazim al-Shaalan told the pan-Arab al-Hayat newspaper the 40-year-old woman had drawn the gun, loaded with poisoned bullets, during a meeting with him and other officials more than one week ago.

"the woman had revealed a wider plot involving a group of 50 women chosen to carry out terrorist operations and assassinations in Iraq. The women were the wives or relatives of people jailed for or killed in clashes with Iraqi security forces and U.S.-led forces. Shaalan said they had undergone training in Syria under the supervision of Iraqi terrorist elements living there. Iranian religious men had also supervised the training,"
Once you get them moving a 1000 feet per second or so, they are all pretty poisonous.
Maybe they were not depending on the women getting a head shot - thus the poison bullets
I think it's called "Lead Poisoning".
What have the feminists to say about this? I'll bet Carlos the Jackal never broke down in tears.
PING.....

This story just sounds kooky to me. Most likely this is just a planted story for Iraqi political reasons. I doubt very much women are given direct access to the Defense Ministry just because she tells someone she has important secret info. Then they don't search her or send her thru a metal detector? Especially since her husband is already in jail for terrorism.
Just not buying this.
Way overdue!
Traumatic lead poisoning?
Traumatic lead poisoning?
You're assuming she would have been able to sneak in a .45 or 9mm. If the best she could conceal was a .22, then hollowpoints loaded with ricin or some other lethal agent would have been indicated
This story is fiction. Everyone knows you can't train your wife........
