Cairo, Egypt, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Former U.S. presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., Wednesday said in Egypt that Arab countries are frustrated by U.S. policies in Iraq.
Speaking after talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Kerry said he noticed during his Middle East tour most countries were unhappy with the poor U.S. efforts to end the violence that has been raging for 21 months in Iraq.
"All countries in the region have great interest in ending the violence in Iraq and they actually feel frustrated because they don't see necessary steps taken to achieve security and stability," he said.
Kerry also accused the Bush administration of negligence in planning the post-Saddam Hussein phase, which allowed the rise of terrorism in Iraq.
He urged Washington to multiply efforts to build strong Iraqi security forces capable of confronting the terrorist attacks being waged by remnants of the ousted Baath regime and Islamic fundamentalists.
Kerry visited Egypt as part of a Middle East tour that took him to Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, Israel and the Palestinian territories.

The Arabs don't want to help, and then complain because things are not working. What hypocrites.
Especially those seven arabs that tried to set up a mortar and were taken out by snipers. Boy, was THAT ever frustrating! It just ruined their whole day!
Complaining is all they know.
Look at the Palistinians. Vote for terror and complain that they don't get what they want. Ironically that's what the arabs have in common with the Democratic Party. Complaining until it hurts.
I am frustrated because Kerry is still around running his mouth.
would like to see Cheney slap him in the face if/when sKerry ever shows his mug in the Senate again...
either Bush or Cheney should go on tomorrow's news show circuit and issue a huge diatribe against whatever sKerry thinks he is doing. They should relate it to his "peace tour" to France in 1970, where he also aligned himself with enemies and traitorous nations.
If they were really unhappy, they could have easily taken their frustration out on Ol' Horseface. Frankly, if he wants to be a messenger boy (on his $6000 bicycle) that's fine, but if he wants to be a diplomat, let him apply to the Dept of State. He's already got the 'dip' part down pat.
sneaky yellow fake-hero news ping
He should change his name to Muhammed Kerry.
"Kerry: Arabs frustrated by U.S. policies"
Good!
I remember the story re: a sniper taking out 3 mooselimb mortarmen w/ 4 shots. Got a link to the situaton w/ 7 mooselimbs taken out?
This scumbag POS should be doing hard time for treason.
"I am frustrated because Kerry is still around running his mouth."
I'm frustrated when the mail doesn't come on time.
Kerry is a traitor and he needs to be taken to court and sentenced for treason. Plain and simple. Let the Dems start the big whine fest for Kerry when that happens. Anybody can sue Kerry for what he's doing. We won the election, we can take someone like Kerry down.
"All countries in the region have great interest in ending the violence in Iraq..."
Not all countries, you lying muslim scumbag. Syria? Iran? Etc?
Rats would squeal like a pig if that took place.
US frustrated by Arab terrorists flying commercial aircraft into civilian buildings and treasonous Frenchmen posing as Americans...
Good.
BullDog: Americans frustrated Kerry still running his traitorous mouth after getting pounded in election
"Rats would squeal like a pig if that took place."
And they thought November 2nd was the worst day of their life. They haven't seen anything yet. Take your gloves off, folks.
