Because, to the best of our knowledge, no information has ever moved faster than the speed of light, since the Universe was born.

Maybe that's where the problem lies, when we try to determine something based on what is "to the best of our knowledge". Our knowledge on a subject may be incomplete, but we still use that knowledge because it's the best knowledge we have on that subject. So when we say that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, that is our belief based on the accumulated knowledge that we have on that subject up to this point in time, but it still may be incomplete knowledge on the subject.

At the time God decides we are ready to meet other beings of his creation, we will. We are not sophisticated enough in my view. Not as a group. Individually, yes.

I'm not all that interested in speculation. I'm interested in inductive reasoning. Please give evidence of your beliefs.

I don't believe your Fact 3 is a fact.

Show me the raw data and the math, please.

Unless, of course, you are including Communism as a religion.

Why is it????

That the assertions about such things virtually always

SOUND HAUGHTILY, ARROGANTLY, . . . ETC. LIKE THAT PERSON'S PERCEPTIONS, BIASES, BELIEFS ETC. ARE THE TOTAL POSSIBLE REALITY on the topic for all time?

I would have THOUGHT that the history of the religion of science, even would have taught a LOT more humility than that about any era's "current level" of knowledge.

Sheesh.

Certainly HE IS in ultimate control

of all the schedules and sequences of such events.

Communism is politics. Crusades were religion. Leaders of both have convinced followers to kill people.

AND,

directly and indirectly, scientists have killed far more than religionists.

Though, actually, I deplore RELIGION vs RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

Religion does tend toward the deadly whether by boredom or zealots.

There is something called phase velocity that travels faster than c. If you find a way to modulate phase over wave-fronts and de-modulate the information in some sort of a reciever, you and your family will be on a permanent vacation:)

"I believe that eventually, the total reality will slice across all the tidy little explanations.

For one, there are far too many tangible HARD OBJECT ship stuff in the literature to construe absolutely all the drivers AND ALL THE SHIPS as totally demonic or demonic materializations."

I understand....But I subscribe to the notion that if the power to deceive in the physical world is real, why would there be limitations? IOW, wouldn't the Evil One be capable of giving the appearance of explainable material attributes?

"I'm not arguing about which side of good/evil the ET's seem to be wholesale on, currently. Though I do believe there angelic forces on the side of God which MAY appear in such contraptions, I don't believe they have much at all, yet."

We really have to be careful about whom we regard as "angels." When they have appeared biblically, they've come as "ministering spirits" (Hebrews 1:14)

"I beleive that God speaking forth whatever can cause distant sub atomic particles and everything larger to hop-to according to His Will without any other 'external' operation effecting such transmission of His Will or effecting the actions."

No doubt, God can command the planets and stars to jump at a snap of His finger. THIS world has been given to the deceptive powers and trickery of the Evil One -- especially during his 'Last Days.' And he is beginning to use every means at his disposal.

verifiable information was transmitted effectively faster than light.

Nope. Quantum entanglement does not allow transmission of imformation faster than light. It does some spooky stuff, but not that.

Wellllllllllll,

Keep that death grip on your beliefs about what

CAN'T BE.

100's of years of scientists have fallen for that one and then fallen off their pedestals for being the high priests of that dogma.

We shall see. And, I believe we shall see in our lifetimes.

To me the strongest argument is that God wouldn't make such a vast universe and have man as the only sentient beings. Not that I think that man can know the mind of God. Nonetheless it is a big universe.

"Then there was "V" !!!

Was that really produced by Mormons?"

The first season was great. I recall one of the Alien "Commanders" later "became" George Costanza's boss for the Yankees on 'Seinfeld.'

I wasn't aware that 'V' was a Mormon production, but I think I remember seeing it at a video store.
