There are so many alphabet soup agencies drawn into security for this gig, I'll bet this is a classic case of the feds not talking to each other. Could be Delta or SEAL snipers measuring ranges and angles or fields of fire. Could be Secret Service making sure manhole covers are welded. Could be LOTS of things, not the least of which is a terrorist recon. Anybody happen to get UNpolitically correct and notice what the nationalities were of these suspicious individuals? I mean some farm grown sniper from Nebraska should draw a leeeeetle bit less scrutiny than the swarthy Saddam Hussein look-alike. I know. How can be such a profiler????

Thanks for the ping. Given the historical lack of coordination between the alphabet agencies, don't be surprised if the FBI was observing the Secret Service.
