She was eventually persuaded to leave, but Im sure if she didnt, shed have been arrested. Otherwise someone would have even lost their cool with her and done something stupid. If it were a dozen guys trying to do what she did with bull horns, I dont think theyd have walked away from our area. Theyd have been stretched out.
Im sure if that girl had been roughed up, some fanatics would claim that it was because she was a Democrat or a woman. She was also black, and I sometimes wonder if there was a video camera trained on her like these Christians had, just hoping that someone would overreact and make heros of in the eyes of a gullible contingent like some on this thread.
Protests are permitted in order to keep them from becoming blood baths, with no one being able to prove who started what. This arrest was no more religiously motivated than an arrest of that girl would have been a racially motivated.
I have no respect for anyone trying to punch someone into silence. If anyone did hit that girl, they would deserve to get the book thrown at them. That might bother you. But I celebrate freedom of speech. You appear to be sympathizing with people who need to be protected from their own lack of self-control. But they did, in fact, control themselves. That is to be commended. Should she get any jail time for what she did?
So you guys would have comitted the crime of assault and battery, but she should have been arrested. Check!
Yeah right, do you also have some beach front property you are selling? Apparantly you havent seen the video in question. What part of free speech do you not understand? One can peacably protest in the public area and they were directed to the area where they could peacably protest - while walking there they were arrested. Im sure your all for having our rights delegated to us by unelected judges or homosexual activists or the ACLU. Just so I know who Im dealing with, what part of the constitution specifically states the seperation of church and state?
