So hoist a glass to toast perhaps the most famous "blogger" of 2004 a brilliant Atlanta lawyer nicknamed "Buckhead."Figured this was worth repeating.

We are getting it. It has become a commonplace to observe that the alternative media is now in a position to keep the MSM honest, or at least to expose their more egregious declensions but now we are debunking the rascals in real time. I note that even before Kennedy had finished his recent speech to the National Press Club assigning them their authorized versions of the elections, Limbaugh was on air satirizing him.
I have seen Freepers utterly deconstruct fatuous New York Times editorials within 18 minutes of their electronic publication. Howard Freeman has run up the white flag. We are indeed winning -for now and until some issue comes along which will enable the MSM to rationalize another jihad.

Great article, best so far. But i had thought Buckheads post was only about 20 minutes after the show aired, not four hours.

OTOH, the dictionary people (and the pundits) may be still off the mark a bit with their understanding of what a 'blog' is. It may have once meant "web log" but I'd argue that the
Freerepublic has become the standard. Namely, a
blog is an online opinion posted for discussion, and not a web 'journal'.
Bottom line-- congratulations Jim ;-).

Some well deserved recognition! Thanks, Jim, for providing the place where history was made!!!

God bless you Jim, and FR.
Imagine what you have done on a shoestring budget compared to this:

"Great article, best so far. But i had thought Buckheads post was only about 20 minutes after the show aired, not four hours." If memory serves, there was some confusion involving time zones and such. In fact I recall several conspiracy theory threads over at DUh (I'm sorry but Shadenfruede with DUhers as the subject is a guilty pleasure of mine.) where they tried to show Buckhead posted BEFORE the piece even aired. Someone finally figured out the time zone thing and then the threads got really weird.
