The argument against DNA is a classic liberal, help-the-crooks argument. The libs throw in the "abuse of citizens" argument to trick some conservatives into buying the gig, if they will. Any while we're at it, shouldn't we forbid the retention of photographs of those who are arrested? Those lead to convictions too. And what about the names of people arrested. Ditch those too. It's all the same logic, and it's wrong, Wrong, WRONG.

Well in Europe those implementing this are the liberals, the socialists and all their ilk. Doesn't fit.

How about a national biometric database for identification purposes? Does everyone support that kind of thing?

It never ceases to amaze how civil libertarians will invent paranoid conspiracy theories to screw with law enforcement.

Ahmed thanks them.

OH, BULLSHIT!That's what I say when I see a big pile of the smelly stuff. Now ,often I agree with you but NOT in your apparent endorsement of a police state.

Lazy or frustrated police in several crimes have attempted to coerce all the men or all the population of a town into providing DNA ,using the tired and false argument "if you have nothing to hide why would you object?"

How about because I say it is my RIGHT not to,and I object to proving my innocence as opposed to the State proving my guilt. Fundamental principles of freedom are at stake here; and I doubt the American Revolution against tyranny was fought so people could be treated like slaves.

A national database of everyone's fingerprints,DNA,photograph, address, buying habits, eating habits, vehicles, and preferred forms of entertainment is JUST what we need to stop crime.

Why, all the police will need is a little crime scene DNA ,pop it into the computer and WHIZZO-out pops the perp's name and where and when to pick him up.

A policeman's dream, yes?

Or a NIGHTMARE for a formerly free people.
