Maybe we should start emailing Katie & Matt with some choice questions/comments, not that it would matter to them, but it would probably help us feel a bit better to let off some steam.

It's absolutely unbelievable that Christians in America could be arrested and hate crimes legislation used to prosecute them for preaching the gospel.

This is the latest I can find on the situation at the moment.

You're very welcome! I've been dying (not literally) to get an update. I guess even though the interview will be on GMA that it's good news that the libs are televising it. There was next to nothing in the Philly news til the past week. That in itself makes me think they are trying to keep it quiet! That can't happen!

Eight charges were filed: criminal conspiracy, possession of instruments of crime, reckless endangerment of another person, ethnic intimidation, riot, failure to disperse, disorderly conduct and obstructing highways.

And Christians are above the law? A little hint, it's hard to feel sorry for self-righteous people who take it upon themselves to violate the law. These people were arrested FOR A REASON. Somehow, this escaped your post, I wonder why you failed to mention this little fact?

Liberals are not starting to scare me.

They are a minority that Barks loud.

The masses will continue to realize that their tolerance is not classical tolerance where you can diagree but rather it is force morality.

Someones morality will be pushed and legislated. As well, ocassionally countries have Civil war...

If it is on Good Morning America you might want to e-mail Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson. Matt and Katie are on Today.

Why don't you watch the video from the event and see if they deserved these charges?

They are totally bogus charges, Hodar. No, Christians are absolutely not above the law, but they did everything by the book. They wanted to protest the event and that is ALL they did. They were not intimidating anyone, infact just the opposite. They were the ones being intimidated and abused, and then THEY were arrested. If you ask me it was planned from the start. The city knew they would be protesting and I think this whole thing was set up.

It's it's a set-up; then there will be 8 rich Christians. However, I find it hard to believe that the police would side against Christians for a pro-gay agenda. The police typically aren't known to be overtly 'Gay friendly', tolerant, yes; friendly no.

In Philly never demonstrate against those groups under the Dem tent and never attack a Teamster's fist with your head.

Well they are in Philadelphia, city of brotherly love. That city recently came out with a new motto to attract gay tourists. Seriously. I forget what it is exactly, but it ends with something about the nights being gay.

Thanks for the ping. Hopefully, these foolish charges will be dropped and a public apology made. If by some dark twist they are convicted, we should all petitions the President for a full pardon.

And exactly what do you know about this case? I dont' recall seeing you on any threads about this in the past month, but I'll admit my memory is blonde as my hair at times.

As far as I know, I can go anywhere on public property in the USA and speak Scripture, complain about the weather, or what ever "free speech" means.

Go to the site link and you can see video tape of the incident, it was about halfway down the page when I looked this morning.

There are also many articles pertaining to this issue at www.lifeandlibertyministries.com

Hate crimes legislation is being used to prosecute this case and that is what homosexuals have been pushing for for a long time and they're succeeding in Philly at this point in time.

You're right about that, I can't for the life of me understand why Christians are so quiet. I guess they're in denial and hope for the best. I am not one of those. I'm going to speak out.
