Read this earlier today at massnews.com Incredible! The ACLJ needs to start taking the ACLU to court for hate crimes violations. They continually "discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion" Isn't that what a supposed "hate crime" is?

So what. So the Federal Court has made a ruling. I'm shaking. If the school fails to remove the stickers, what can the court do? Nothing. They have no teeth. We need to just ignore these ridulous rulings where Federal Courts are poking there noses where there is no jurisdiction.

The stickers read, "This textbook contains material on evolution. Evolution is a theory, not a fact, regarding the origin of living things. This material should be approached with an open mind, studied carefully and critically considered."
Exactly which religion does this sticker endorse?

Very good point. Just keep doing it, let the judges inforce the LAWS that they are making. I think these judges need to go back to school and learn about the seperation of powers.

None! These Judges need their own words thrown back in their face. "discrimination on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, or "religion""

This is the most convoluted logic by a judge I have seen since that idiot let that women get out of prison after killing her kids.

A school district in KY recently got a demand via the ACLU, in which it cited "not enough students had viewed the mandated "Tolerance video", which the district in question offered to student on an "opt in" basis. Only a little over 300 students had signed that they had seen the video. The ACLU demand was that the district had 30 days to comply with the court order to have all students see it. The distinct is fighting it, and ignoring the demand. Not sure where it stands at this point, but they have an "opt in" policy, so IMO they should do what every district should do, ignore the ACLU! And the courts.

Evolution is also a religion. Science is based upon observation. Since scientists could not observe creation, they base their THEORY on faith that it is what happened. Theory should not be taught as scientific law or fact.

If a sitting federal judge believes that simple pointing out the truth about evolution is unconstitutional than his own competence must be called into question.
If a sitting federal judge who swears to uphold he Constitution of the United States believes that "separation of church and state" is in the Constitution than he has then violated his oath. He must be retired or removed from his position before he puts people in danger by his delusional intent.

What do you suppose would happen if a Muslim organization complained that the teaching of evolution blasphemed Allah and demanded it be stopped? Islam accepts and teaches the Creation as described in Genesis.

Yes yes! When you get an unconstitutional ruling, Just say "NO"Former Chief-Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court did just that...

Theory should not be taught as scientific law or fact. Like we shouldn't teach the germ THEORY of disease to doctors? Or the atomic THEORY of matter, or the THEORY of general relativity to physicists?
THEORIES, in the scientific community, have a different MEANING than for the general public. One can have a THEORY about what's wrong with his car. This kind of theory is entirely different from real scientific theories. Scientific theories form the foundation of all modern scientific work and are indeed constantly questioned, attacked, and sometimes overhauled (eg: theories of space and time as they progressed from Aristotle -> DesCartes -> Newton -> Mach -> Einstein).
We, as a civilization, profit enormously from the myriad scientific theories that have made possible nearly every single technological improvement in our lives. It seems you want to have all the benefits of science, but want to accept only those scientific consequences which don't clash too hard against your (increasingly) antiquated religious beliefs. How many times throughout history has science (and it's theories) been attacked by religion only to eventually squeeze through the dogma out of the sheer human sense of self-preservation? Eschew science all you like, but without those theories we would all still be living according to the broken laws of God rather than nature - those were called the "Dark Ages" for a reason.

That's correct When Roy Moore was just a district judge, the Federal Court made a ruling and he ignored it in open defiance. And the Governor, Fob James supported him. He said if any official tried to take the Ten Commandments out of his courtroom, he would call out the National Guard to protect it.
Then Moore was elected Chief Justice and put in that monument and the court made another ruling which was likewise ignored. This time he had no support from the new governor or Attorney General Pryor (now a Federal Judge) If the other members of the Supreme Court had supported him in open defiance, nothing would have happened. The ACLU would be left twisting in the wind.
Sidebar: Moore is gone but that monument is about 100 feet from where it was and a new hero judge is wearing the Ten Commandments on his robe.
