So because we carry out sleep deprivation against captured terrorists who think nothing about killing innocent civilians ... that gives us no moral standing to take out dictators who have killed thousands and repressed millions.

"the US can no longer claim to defend human rights abroad We don't have to claim anything. Our actions speak louder than words.

Again, they forget the human rights of the Iraqis who lived under Saddam's sadistic reign, and how the US has liberated millions in Iraq...and Iran...and Afghanistan.

While Abu Ghraib was a bit over the top, I think all the hype by the media and left wing is a part of a larger picture that wants to undermine the military and the US at large. The military should deal with Gruner and Lynndie England as they deem appropriate, but at the same time not give in to folks who would be anti-military even if an Abu Ghraib incident didn't occur. As far a international police, international law, and the World Court (throw the UN in there for good luck) I say piss on them all.

Where were their findings that terrorist organizations are undermining international law and eroding its role on the world stage?
I thought not.

Hmmm ... I'm sure this is just a simple mistake. They must've just forgot that the continent of Africa exists. You know, since most of its inhabitants are held hostage by garden variety murdering dictators. Sudan, anyone?
