I have never looked better than being depicted in that comic strip. I owe the Village Voice a debt of gratitude.

Words fail me. What sort of sick person thinks such a thing up? I wonder if he realizes that it says SOOOOOO much more about him than it does about those he is (supposedly) lampooning.

Actually, it's great that the Lefties are promoting this stereotyping. The longer they clearly "don't get it" why they lost, the more they will continue to lose, IMHO.

You want reason and eloquence or ignorance and name calling?
Wait. Let me rephrase that...
Never mind.

Oh, I see. I just realized he was talking about the red states--and here I thought he was talking about the blue states. I mean, the description more accurately fits the great unwashed throngs who show up at "peace" demonstrations--and who voted for Kerry. (In fact, Kerry's married to one such...)

Hmmph! You don't suppose they're upset over there at the Village Voice do you?????
To: no_apathy
It's the Village Voice. Leftist sour grapes and drivel. Nobody takes that paper seriously. Gays buy it to find new butt. Some people buy it to see what's going on in the night clubs. Their articles are largely unread.

The blue bloods can spew their bias and hate concerning the south and the heartland of America, we have long memories, but we were smart enough to beat their asses once again just as we did in the 2002 mid-term elections. We are a force to be reckoned with, and the small enclave of blue states better get used to this fact. This election proved that you must have at least some southern states in your corner, or you can't win. sKerry's grand strategy for the 2004 election was a complete disaster. He thought he could pull off a national election win without carrying one southern state. Life's a real be-ach when ya have to fool with us ole' buck toothed red necks. [We were smart enough to see through Sorros and all his money. Not bad for a bunch of hicks]

Sent to Mr. Sutton:
Sir,
Contrary to the sophomoric premise implied by your Sutton Impact strip entitled Gap-Toothed Missing Link Troglodytes Delighted by Presidential Election Outcome, the average Republican voter is employed, educated, hard-working, and well-informed about U.S. affairs domestically and abroad.
While satire and humor are effective mediums for promoting a view, no matter how divorced from reality, you would do well to look to an infinitely more talented malcontent Gary Trudeau for guidance. While most Americans virulently disagree with what both of you have to say, Mr. Trudeau manages to communicate a subversive message in such a way that at least the message is considered by the reader. Your tripe amounts to playground name-calling.
If comedy is your hobby, I respectfully suggest you keep your day job.
Regards,
