Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif received on Wednesday John Kerry, the US Senator and former presidential hopeful.
In statement following the meeting, Kerry, currently visiting Egypt as part of his tour of the Middle East, said the meeting with Nazif dealt with Egyptian efforts in the fields of economy, trade and technology, as well as developments in the Middle East and Iraq.
For his part, Cabinet spokesman Magdi Radi said that Nazif reviewed with Kerry economic reforms which were being carried out by the Egyptian government.
During the meeting, Nazif highlighted the legitimate Palestinian rights and the US role in helping resume Palestinian- Israeli peace negotiations.
Meantime, Kerry admitted that the US committed terrible mistakes in Iraq. During a meeting on Wednesday with grand Imam of Al Azhar Mohamad Sayed Tantawi, Kerry regretted the difficult conditions in Iraq.
The Grand Imam urged all Iraqis to take part in the coming elections to be held on January 30. On his part, Kerry appreciated Al Azhar's prestigious position all over the world, pointing out that there was a common ground between Islam and Christianity.
You are referring here, of course, to the DNC talking points, aren't you?
Tinfoil alert already.
A Delusional Underling talking about "reality"! HA HA HA! "I BELIEVE"!!!
Here's one for you.
You are so right. We can only hope the republicans run somebody, anybody against Kerry in '06. He's beatable.
Did you bring your tinfoil?
Yuck Foo
Adios!
"Questioning the world around you is the best way to attain truth, not blindly accepting what is fed to you."
Sounds like you've partaken in the DU koolaid. You're probably one of those jerks that actually believes the Iraqi people would be better off with Saddam still in control.
Hit the bricks, pal!
BUH BYE
And you're toast.................
LOL!
Its a 200 year old American tradition to keep our differences silent once we leave American shores. Kerry has broken that during the Vietnam war and now again. That Imam and his institution are rabidly anti-American when speaking in Arabic. See MEMRI. Therefore calling him Traitor IS not inappropriate at all.
uhhhhhhhhhh......BYE BYE
ZOT IN BOUND
You are dilusional. Kerry is running around the world on taxpayers' dollars, setting up photo ops with various Arab dictators and tyrants, badmouthing the President. These people are America's enemies, they want to see us dead. They don't play nice, and they think, thanks to Kerry and other Liberals, including the MSM, that America is a paper tiger who can be defeated by opinion polls. They know exactly who Kerry is and what he did during the Vietnam War, and they're using him. Kerry's role in this is despicable. If you support him, you should have your head examined.
I hope you realise that the cabinet only suggests the amount of money to be placed on budget items? It is the Congress that actually sets and votes on the amount to be approved. Sen Kerry, is overseas doing work for the commiees he is on, there is no reason to call him a traitor for going overseas and working for our people.
It's not like he went over and was discussing policy changes, that would be wrong for him to do, but going over and admitting mistakes to one of our allies, I wouldn't classify that as tratorous...la
I hope this dumb a$$ skerry is not over there on my tax paying money.
