I sure don't get that from the lyrics. Sounds like a guy bemoaning the emptiness and desparation of drug addiction to me.
There was something about that on the other thread. A pro-life organization was thanking him for making the song (Without actually endorsing his lifestyle or music, btw). I'll see if I can find it again and post a link to it here.
Never mind. There are well over a thousand posts there-I don't have the stamina to hunt through the haystack. But it's towards the end, if I'm not mistaken, if you feel like looking for it.
