I'm SO glad to see that there are people who feel that the millions of voters who pulled the lever for the President are "useful idiots", simply because they do not toe some particular moral or religious line. Oh, and that they are apparently subject to manipulation by one segment of conservatism.

You just slandered about 80% of conservative GWB voters.

You need to take control of your life and vote for the liberals whom most represent you if you really are awake.

But, please continue to vote Republican and conservative.

The converse is true as well. So many who vote for dems do not hold liberal values or live the liberal lifestyle.

The media reports that said Bush voters were motivated primarily on 'values' is going to destroy this party. It has empowered a small, very vocal segment of the party that will scare away just about every young voter that would ever consider voting republican.

We have to be careful not to look like the self-rightous, uptight town in Footloose. The media paints us that way and we are embracing it.
