Maybe he was talking about free political thought and speech? It's kind of sad how to some people only smut is what interests them as far as free speech --- and they will try to shut a Conservative up.
Besides --- no one's trying to end his concerts or stop his CD sales on this thread --- just discussing the imappropriateness of him singing his material at the Republican Youth Inauguration.
Censorship always defeats its own purpose, for it creates, in the end, the kind of society that is incapable of exercising real discretion... In the long run it will create a generation incapable of appreciating the difference between independence of thought and subservience.
