If it wasn't for Superbowl III, who knows what would have become of the upstart AFC.
Thank you Jets - for being useful for once!
I would have been two months old, and seeing my Father for the first time, as he came back from Vietnam.
The Jets defense in that game doesn't get the credit they deserve. They're the reason Namath's guarantee came true.
For any Sox fans out there, (in the NESN broadcast area) the Sox are "currently" playing the Reds in the 6th game (Fisk homer) of the '75 series.
I was a young Unitas/Colts fan living in Indiana and very disappointed by the game result.Who knew that fifteen years later my team would move to my state.
PS, Louis Tiant on the mound.

That would be what 1969?
Just back from Nam to find out that Banks wouldn't loan money to a returning serviceman to buy the new car of his
dreams because," You service men always loan your car to your friends and then they wreck it."
Had to settle for a used model, NOT what I had been dreaming
about sitting up nights on the perimeter.
At least I didn't get spit on, but if looks could have killed......
Here's a question I have. That year the Colts only loss was at home to Cleveland. Then they went to Cleveland in the NFL championship game and crushed them 34-0! What was the difference in the two games?
He had beaten the Reds in Game 1 and 4. The three day rain delay allowed him to get the start in Game 6.
Ben was a young teen living in EC city.
Hey Maine, are you watching?
Much more important than Broadway Joe's prediction.
John Elway . . no . . uh . . . Marty Schottenheimer
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.
No I'm watching the Celtics game...of course I'm watching Game 6!! This was played before I was born and in a way I'm glad because I don't think I could have handled watching it live.
I was out doing a film project for a high school English class during Super Bowl III. Back then, the Super Bowl wasn't hyped as much as it is today. Certainly Joe had a big hand in changing all of that.
Well the Baltimore Colts did draft Elway in what turned out to be their last year in Baltimore.
AGYG = a life of many different interests!
Lynn 3 run homer!!! 3-0 Red Sox!!
