VANITY - I need help from freepers. I heard Rush say (on Monday and Tuesday) that Mary Mapes already had a job offer as a news special consultant from PBS. I didn't hear his source and I can't find anything about it on FR or Google. Does anyone know about this ?? Rush sounded like he had a source. Thanks

I believe Limbaugh was quoting the American Spectator on Wed. Today he (Rush) said that he received a letter from PBS Frontline which said the story was false- she was not offered a job.
ON Monday, Rush quoted a American Spectator piece by the "Prowler".
Tuesday, he said he was contacted by NPR disavowing the report.
Further, The Prowler said she was hired for special projects, yet NPR said she was not hired for a specific show. Lots of wiggle room.
Mapes is looking in the professional liar category in the want ads. She could be a used car salesman or an environmental wacko.
I heard him make a prediction she would be offered a job as a reward for failure. Because that is what Democrats do. I did not hear he say she HAD a job offer.
He was looking to her future. I heard him say that the offers would be coming...it was a comment on the Dems "taking care of their own".
I see other posters heard a different segment. Missed most of today's show. Needed a nap!
The point is that within 6 weeks Mapes and the other fired personnel will be back on the job at CBS or another MSM.

I went to American Spectator and found it THANKS FREEPERS. I'm arguing with my lib daughter who thinks Rush makes stuff up and I'm defending him. She's coming around very slowly.
There are a lot of cities that Mary could visit and find a job. Havana, Tehran, Pyongyang, Damascus, Bejing among others.

After fabricating a story designed to bring down a high ranking Republican, Mary Mapes will join the looney left lecture circuit, at 20 grand a pop. The same career path as Anita Hill.
