Men who walk away from Mom -probably to a young trophy wife- walk away from their kids in far too many cases. Some men -not all- seem to think Mom and the kids are a package deal. Personally, I don't think this guy should be forced to pay, but he is a loser for not wanting to help his daughter.

"Men who walk away from Mom -probably to a young trophy wife- walk away from their kids in far too many cases."

It's truly unfortunate when otherwise well intentioned and legitimately conservative women (taking your FR homepage at face value) offer up assumptions having no basis in fact and which plainly result from passive acceptance of the msn's anti male, pro radical feminist propaganda.

Aside from your statement ignoring any possible wrong-doing on the part of the mother in the article cited which may have contributed to the divorce, women - not men - initiate the vast majority of such actions largely because they know that, thanks to no-fault divorce and overt gender bias within the "family" Courts, their odds of "winning" are extremely high.

Please see: "These Boots Are Made for Walking: Why Wives File for Divorce" - authored by Margaret F. Brinig and Douglas W. Allen and published by George Mason University School of Law & Simon Fraser University Department of Economics

Note: about halfway down the cited page above there's a link to a well documented Word chart which very conclusively shows which gender it is that initiates most divorce actions.
