""When did Gibson make that declaration and or when did the pope make this declaration? Lacking that fact, by what authority do you come to judge Gibson a sedevacantist?""

Your Question is a Fallacy
Declaration: An explicit, formal announcement, either oral or written

The pope does NOT have to make A DECLARATION for Mel Gibson to be a sedevacantist.

Mel Gibson's actions, quotes pre the Passion of the Christ, quotes after the Passion, all constitute nothing else but Sedevangism.

Stop beating around the bush. It's all there.

Please don't try to make a fool of me again.

You owe me an apology.

Because Mel Gibson has not announced he "....doesn't recognize the pope" (your words), I have no need to withdraw my question to you. While you have judged him a so, doesn't make it so. Until then, my Post # 9 requires no apology.

Your generous source contributions to this thread are absent any declaration from Gibson to support your contention. It should not be necessary to remind you that it was Mel Gibson who sought and received Vatican acknowledgement of his film. Certainly, this act in itself belies any contrary suggestion about his submission to the Holy See.
